I bought a Reese bolt on Amazon for $37, plus $25 for the wiring harness. The Reese connected right to the stock location with 4 bolts. The nuts are welded on the tow hitch so it makes the install maybe 10 minutes. Like it was said the wiring harness is connected in the left rear tail light. Just unplug and plug in the new adapter. It is that easy. The dealer wanted $95 for the hitch and $50 for the wiring harness. No difference here, and I like the look of the Reese. The only bad thing I can say is that it didn't come with a 4 pin connection holder. I had to zip tie mine on.Click image for larger version

I'd just make sure it is rated.

I've never seen a hitch from the factory or aftermarket that is welded. I'd stay away, far away, from a welded on hitch personally.

Just the nuts are welded to the hitch so you don't have to hold them while threading in and tightening the bolts. Even the factory one is like that, I think.

I have a Smittybilt one that has separate nuts (even though their pictures show them welded on) and it would have been way easier if they were attached.

Yes, nuts are often welded in place as they are hard to get to sometimes and in a frame rail.
