I see you have a 2007. Back then, the other choice was 4.10's.

Yeah, I get to live with someone else's descisions, got mine used. I wish I had done my homework a little more before I bought this, but I was so excited to find a Rescue Green with a 6 Speed that I jumped all over it. I can't really complain though, I haven't had any issues, and I hope to put some 4.56's in it in the not too distant future...Okay Hijack over!!!

just an fyi, in case you are moving, know most companies will not rent a trailer to a soft topped suv
This is true. The U-Haul in my town said no, no way, no how when I told them it was a soft top. They also could not tell me why. I was told they have to put the towing vehicle info into their computer records for insurance purposes, so you have to be honest about it.

Yes and No. Some U-haul stores are full service some are just pick up and drop off points.

Best bet is to buy one offline, rugged ridge is like 50 bucks I think.... Installs with 4 bolts and you're done. Wiring harness plugs into taillight and think its only 20-30 bucks

I noticed if you order a tow hitch or of its equipped with one it's welded on. I found mine on the lot without a hitch and had them add it as part of negotiations... It was bolted on.

I may be wrong, but I don't think any oem or after market hitch is welded on the jeep unless the owner wants the added piece of mind and does it himself.

Agreed. Bolting is common practice. I've seen weld jobs, but wouldn't trust it. Read some disaster stories about weld jobs tearing off too. Not a good idea.
