Tow Hicth Help

i just got one from Valley for my birthday, bolts up just like the mopar one does, but mine is a class III and rated for more weight i believe, could be wrong though.
the first hitch was by some company and it would have bolted right up, but the hitch itself was about 8 inches, so it would have stuck out about 6" from the bumper, so i returned it and ordered my current hitch, bolted on very nicely once i snapped a grade 8 bolt on getting that damn rear tow hook off...

They are the same hitch for a 2 dr or 4 dr. I beleive that the 4 dr jeeps have a higher tow rating then the 2 dr. Because of that the hitch has a higher rating. But the jeep only can tow what it's rated for. The hitch in question could be a mopar one, or aftermarket. No way to tell as they all look the same. And they all bolt up the same and in the same location.

i would search on line. that is how i found mine. shopped around for weeks. dont know what brand that is but the one i purchased was by hidden hitch. it has a very long neck. Quadratech sells it. here is the link:

however, i shopped around with that part number and got it for 80 bucks - no charge on shipping. the nice thing about this hitch is i can use my bike rack (Yakoma) with the spare tire on. i had already owned the bike rack prior to the jeep and it fit just beautiful. one in the pick you have, i know my bike rack would not fit becuase of the rear tire.

just for you pal (and i was bored), i took picks. it bolts the same way as the mopar hitch. very- very simple....just 4 bolts in the back. you can tell, in relation to the spare tire, how long the neck is.
