Tires on stock 16's
I have a 08 unlimited X. I will be doing the Terraflex BB 2.5" lift. I also will have 1.5" spacers.
What is the largest tire I will be able to put on my stock 16" wheels safely?
I do 90% on road driving with mild off road on weekends. What is a suggestion for brand and size?
Thanks
Joe

P285/75R16 will fit on stock 16's. There is even some who are running a 295/75R16 on the stock rims. You may need spacers though, due to the width. Below is 285/75R16

Armycop that looks great. Do you have any spacers running with that, and is it lifted at all? Id love to pull off 285/75R16 on the stock rims without lift, but I keep getting conflicting reports if you'll need spacers or not. Id rather avoid the spacers unless absolutely needed. If Im going to spend the $200 on them I figure I might as well put an extra $75 in and do the Skyjacker BB too.

Im probably going with the 265 too, but damn the 33's look good. I just hear alot about rubbing off road, plus the extra cost of the spacers which sounds pretty mandatory to fit ok.

Now for the lift.....
Speaking of spacers...should I install the spacers now, or just wait?

Im referring to the stock rims on the X. Seems like spacers might just be the way to go, in which case I'll be going with 285/75R16. Id much rather pull off the 33's.
