Default tire rotation (including matching spare)

Anyone know the proper pattern for rotating the tires including the matching spare? The owner's manual just shows it for 4 tires. I don't need to just yet, but I will at some point fairly soon.

Thanks Robar! I will definitely rotate in the spare, was just unsure about the pattern.

Wow, great search function. Was about to start this exact thread. Thought it might have been a stupid question to ask about rotating the spare, but thought it made sense to. Its a perfectly good tire and I paid for it. Plus, if you use it, won't it help frokm dry rotting?

so i was at the dealer for the first oil change and tire rotation. i asked them if they rotate all five tires. they said no. spares are for when you get a flat. so i looked in the owners manual and it didnt mention the spare.

found this on tirerack:

now the question is, should i go somewhere and ask them to re-rotate the tires (i have them all marked) in the order of the diagram? or should i wait for the next 3k to roll around and then include the spare?

Funny.........................

The dealership had my JK for a couple weeks to "fix" the leaking hardtop.

I asked them to comp me an oil change and rotation while they had it, and told them to rotate in the spare. I later got a call from the service department that told me you should NEVER put the spare into the rotation on 4x4's........

So, I take it they were wrong?

Ha, I had my first oil change and tire rotation too and asked them if they rotate all five tires. they said no. spares are for when you get a flat. I guess they all go to the same school. Next time I will rotate all five.
