Mine's been on constantly lately due to the weather. It's such a PITA..

Mine has been coming on in the morning and then turning off in the afternoon.

 

I swapped out 4 rims/tires (without installing the sensors) and drove around a couple days w/o a problem then the light turned on randomly... I think it's because of my spare, I didn't take it off, I'm gonna check it in a bit...

 

I know for a fact that the 07-09 spare does not need a sensor. My spare doesn't have a sensor and I'm fine.

I don't know if jeep changed that for the 2010 and up.

 

My rears were down to about 31 psi

 

I wonder what would happen if you parked next to a car with a low sensor and left the jeep running....

 

The sensors in our jeeps dont transmit till they are rotating. But if they keep coming on, increase the tire psi to 5-10 psi over what is listed on your door and drive around a bit, it should turn off..

 

Had a similar experience. TPMS was indicating a fault (according to the manual) by doing the 10 second blink with a chime then solid light. I aired up to 41psi and the warning light went out after 25-35 miles. Has stayed off since (another 60 miles or so).

 

I tend to disagree with the comment the spare does not monitor unless it is on the ground. The sensor is electronic, and sends out a signal all of the time. The spare can set off your TPMS. Check it.
Also, I would love to turn mine off as well, but in Utah we have a state inspection and they are looking at the valve stems and evidence your TPMS is workable, or they will reject the inspection. High price to pay for no TPMS>
