I don't know of anyone that would let you go wheeling with them if you were a 4x2. I definately would not.

I would not want to spend my hole day pulling him out. 4x2's are not made for off road.

Wouldn't it be better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it?

A question: Have you ever driven a Jeep Wrangler in 2WD in snow?

I know you live in CA, but if you ever get that thing somewhere where the snow is deeper than just a light dusting, you'd see what I'm talking about.

you can never regret getting 4x4, but you may regret getting 2x4. Besides you'll never live it down in here!!

I can verfiy this if you need me too. 4X2 here. Go ahead and laugh. That is my one regret was not getting the 4x4. The one I got had the mygig in it and the other was a 4x4 w/o. If I had only know about this forum before I bought mine I would have gotten the 4x4 with the stock radio and done my video monitor like they are done in the write up section. Am I happy with what I got. HELL yeah. I love it!!!! I can't live on the past so I got to play with what I got and so far she has gotten me through what I have wanted to go through with no problems. That is my 2 cents
Andrew
