Ticking noise coming below, looks like front driveshaft has issues ? took VIDEO
So I've had this annoying ticking noise the last few months, i thought it was a heat shield and got under today and noticed my drive shaft looks like this . Is this serious to the point i shouldn't drive? I have a 4" lift which is most likely why this happened . Any help appreciated

You should look into a replacement drive shaft when possible. I would at a minimum stick some grease in there until you do but don't go for a long time like that if you can.

Well I just finished pulling it out,it was definitely ready to go, didn't want to chance any damage . Im just going to leave it without one til I find a deal on a new one. There should be no issue with this right ?
Obviously no 4wd til then but any concerns?

No concerns at all, this is common practice for diagnosing drivability issues.
