Default Thoughts? Wheel change

So, let me start off by saying I have a 2 door 2011 Sahara, it has a terrible 3.8 engine with a disgusting 3.73 gear ratio. I've been running ruby 17 rims with nitto trail graps 295/70/17. I don't do extreme climbing. I mainly use my jeep for going to the hunting camp, mud and moderate trails. I have a RK 2.5 flex system which yielded me a lot of height, almost 4" front and 3.5 rear. I'm thinking of switching to 20x10 with 35" federals. My current wheel and tire weight is right at 100lbs the 20x10 with the 35"s is gonna put me at 75lbs. Which is a good bit lighter. What are you guys thoughts on this? U think it will throw off my speedo bad? Do you think 20" is to big for a 2 door??? Thanks guys

I'd put my money towards re-gearing but that's just me.

Lighter weight is an improvement for power and mileage, but will be negated by the fact that you have even larger tires.

Is your JK an automatic ?

If so, I would suggest a Superchips programmer or similar and if not satisfied with that, then regear. 4:88's or 5:13's for an automatic.

I have a Sprintbooster which helps with power too.

I think 20's look horrible on a JK
