Is there a warranty limit for chasing rattles??

your best excuse is to make something up, and tell them you think the sway bars are loose. thats what i did...
make sure you tell them that they have to drive it in order to hear it make noise.

I worked at a VW/Mazda dealer as a service advisor for a while. We used to only cover that stuff for 12 month/12,000 miles. I think it fell under the initial "adjustments" warranty. Just my 2 cents.

Does not seem like an unreasonable question.
I do not know if there is a consistant time frame, but I bet most dealers will try to look for and fix rattles on a new vehicle, if you persist, at least for awhile. I doubt most dealerships will do a great job at it. Not all their fault, as it can be frustrating.
IMO you will have better luck searching this forum for all the threads from owners who have found the various JK rattles and graciously posted the fix.
Thats what I do (or sometimes just turn up the music) and it works pretty well.
