Is there a better then stock Inner Axle Seal???
Im so sick and tired of replacing inner axle seals. I herd rumor there was a new version from mopar or someone else that is an oem inner axle replacement but not the same as previous version.
can anyone chime in?

I bought the ones through Synergy while buying some other stuff.
Stock part numbers but Only $12
How are you u-joints ? A bad u-joint/slop in the driveline will kill the seals.
2007 Rubicon /2 door/6 speed

I installed new inner axle seals May.1 2014. Profession shop did the work. We installed Balljoints this weekend at home and I guess when installing the passenger long side shaft, it must of ripped the inner seal.
I have a ProRock 44, Yukon 5.13 Gears, RCV Outer Seals, OEM Inner Seals, OEM Axle Shafts, , Brand New Timkin Unit Bearings, Brand New Spicer 5-7166X Axle Joints, Brand New Alloy USA BallJoints. I've totally re-built the front end this summer and I'm sick of replacing inner axle seals. They are so weak & flimsy.

I've replaced 4 sets of ball joints on JKs that had at least 75,000 miles on the original axle seals. Not one has started leaking.
I think proper preparation and careful installation are keys to having no leaks.
Regarding the OEM seals being weak and flimsy, they look like any other seals I've seen over the years. When mine start leaking, I'll be looking for other options, but these are holding up well.

How can one with a 2009 Jeep and ProRock 44 acquire the new Part # for the VIN Specific 2pce Seal?
A friend of mine says the mopar VIN Specific for 2013+ Dana 44 is a 2pce seal made with stamped 22ga sheet metal.
I have also been told to buy Yukon YMSS1009 which is a Dana 30 - 30spline Seal.
This is the style I know my profession shop installed. Looks like an OMIX-ADA seal.
This is the Crown Automotive Style. Same as Synergy and uses the same Mopar OEM Manufacturer Part No: 5014852AB. This looks much like the VIN Specific Seal, can anyone confirm a difference.?
Crown SKU: J8121781
This is the new VIN Specific 2pce Seal. I cannot find a Part / anywhere.?

Driving in watery mud and sandy rivers will kill your inner axle seals. I had to have both my Chromolly shafts turned because the sand had gouged a groove at the seal. If you're playing like that, axle seals are the least of your problems. If you're not, then you should be getting a lot more miles out of those seals. You could slop a bunch of marine grease up in the axle housing by the seal--that is what an old timer river runner recommended to me.
