Roll the windows up and turn up the heat and only the tops of the ears get cold.

Seat Warmers

Was 52 degrees yesterday. The daughter liked the JK open. The wife just hit the button and was comfy.

For me seat warmers is a bit a waste of money sice its really cold here for a month thats it, so i would invest the money is something else. But thought about the seat warmers, and i know they solve the preblem straight away so thanks.

35-40 degrees in the morning, warms up to 70's during the day. Running with the doors on and a safarie top. I wear a beanie and a jacket and the heater on about mid heat in the morning. It's ALOT warmer than riding my bike. My hardtop still hanging in it's lonely spot in the garage. I hate to have to put it on with the mid-day temps perfect. I'm holdin out as long as I can

Just put my top and doors back on due to rain. Last week the drive got down to 28F in the morning. Good coat, hat and gloves and some hot coffee and you'll be fine. A hoodie helps a lot to keep the wind out. I don't think I'd go much below 28F or go below 40 when it rains.

Drive with your knees and hold your hands above the heating vents so the heat goes up your sleeves and warms the body. Works like charm.

Yesterday was soooo pretty here, I took all the doors and top off.

In the afternoon, I got lazy and said "what the heck, I'm gonna drive to work like that Monday morning".

What an idiot.......

It was 51 this morning......I was going down I-10 about 65mph and thought my ears and other body parts were gonna freeze off. Ooooh, you say....don't be a dumbass and turn the nuclear heater on......well, I couldn't.....

A good friend of mine, N2Rock, turned me on to the little sticky mirrors that fit over the AC/heater vents. They really help with your vision when you take the doors off....like little itty bitty rear view mirrors... The only problem is, when I fired up the heater the other day.....it melted they sticky mirrors right off the vents....both of them went "PLOP" right off.

Soooooo, this moring it was either freeze my cajones off, or turn the heat on and have my little cool rear-view mirrors come unstuck and not have rear view vision....which is a bad thing at 65mph down I-10.

So, I froze..........

I looked cool...but I froze....

Not as cold as when I used to ride my Harley to work in the winter time. Now THAT was cold!! To cope, I'd tuck BOTH hands into my jacket pockets, lean in close to keep my center of gravity down and ride w/o hands. Surprisingly stable actually, especially on the freeway.
