Default Sunrider top on two door

I guess I have a sunrider top on my two door it has those sliding sleeves so does that mean I can open it up like a sunroof? right after the sleeves there are these clips that hold the top up and if I unclip them the whole top will fold

Mine is the same. I'm no expert (i've had mine for about three weeks now) but you can fold the top back and have your sun roof. There should be some velcro strips (mine are in the glove box) to hold it in place.

Default sunrider

Hi, don't release the clips to use the sunrider feature. Only release them if you want to put the entire top down. Slide the plastic sleeves forward, unclip the drip edges, release the above visor clamps and fold the sunrider back in a W shape. There is a video on the entire process on a link in the forum.

the clips hold the top up, do not release them or you will need to redo the top.
  • slide the sleeves forward
  • take the drip edges out of the door frames
  • unlatch the window channel
  • fold back
  • velcro the top back (optional)

so nice. I love my sunrider for those rides home from work where it was raining during the day but it's nice in the afternoon. A couple adjustments and I'm enjoying the sun without taking the whole top down!

Okay I was just making sure I was using my top the way it was designed.

I think above something like 45mph your also supposed to remove the rear window if using the sunrider. It's in the manual.

I love my sunrider. I had a hard top on a 1997 Jeep and that was a pain to get it off and on. The hard top does look better.

I bought my sunrider soft top off craigslist. I had to drive 100 miles to pick it up, but I got it for 275 (he said he'd take 250 for it, but I was happy to pay full asking price) and it was pretty much brand new.

If price isn't an issue, just get one from your dealer.

I don't see the point of the sunrider. An extra couple minutes and the top is down anyway.
