Yeah, its the original battery with some 80k miles on it, that heat probably knocked it out for good. Tow trucks on the way, I realized I had roadside assistance with Geico so hopefully this will get us back on the road soon.

you are positive this is not the "no start" issue many of us are experiencing? for kicks and giggles, put in neutral and try to start.

Well the tow truck came and jumped it, started up quickly. Putting in new battery now. I don't think its the no-start bug, iits a manual and it started up once the tow truck put a significant amount of juice on it. Thanks for all the help everybody!

Update: new battery did the trick. Has started right up a couple times

When my 10 Rubi is ready, no more than 3 yrs., I'm thinking either Sear Die Hard Platinum or Odyssey. Glad to hear it was only the battery.
