i get the same spot too. I have a sahara so its lined but i notice it now when i come out in the morning and there is frost on the hood its every where except that small spot and the jeep has been off for about 12 hours.

 

This sounds like a major problem! You should definitely buy the AEV hood.

 

Ohhhh! If only I could. Sigh! I have the same spot on my hood. Could it be a heat source having something to do with a computer module, possibly from the electricity running things like the clock that continue to run 24/7 (otherwise known as "31")?
