Yeah I see the same spot. It's the missing insulation.

 

I have the same spot ! Dam this is a tough crowd !

 

Never noticed it on mine, but I don't have any insulation.

 

Well if it makes you guys feel any better I have a 07 Unlimited Rubicon and a 08 Unlimited Rubicon and both have the same spot on the hood that stays dry for some reason. I have not idea why. Chris

 

I gunna guess it is due to the fan running. I have to check if occurs if the car is not running.

 

'08 Rubi Unlimited and I have noticed the same spot.

Been meaning to try and figure it out, but it just hasn't been that high a priority.

Or by the time I get home I don't see the spot because the is all even and warmed up.

I'll try and look tomorrow. We have had frost for the past couple days

mine's an early '07 and has the liner but neither light. go figure

 

I have a 2009 Rubi and I have hood insulation.

 

I could be heat generated from the computer which is this area.
