Strange side-to-side play in front end.
I've been fighting vague flip-floppy steering feedback in my JK. The steering wheels seems to like to either be held at 1:00 or 11:00. Doesn't often stay centered.
'07 2-door JK, ~128,000 miles. For all intents and purposes, it's stock.
I had my wife rock the steering wheel from 9:00 to 3:00 while I checked the front end. I noticed that the axle appeared to rock side to side maybe 3/8 of an inch - but I was not able to locate any obviously loose parts. There MAY have been play in the track bar bushing on the frame side, but it was negligible. What DID appear to be moving, was the entire track bar. It appear to be bowing outwards around the pumpkin.
Do I need my eyes examined, or is that expected when a JK is static and sitting on pavement?
Thoughts as to what may be wrong and causing the funny steering feedback?
Anyone have any feedback on using poly bushings in the track bar?
'Something' is loose, and I want to tighten it up.

Any play/movement with the TB is not good.
Pull the TB. Check the bushings and mount holes for ovaling. A stock track bar can be found for cheap. If the holes are worn. Washers can be welded to each side.
I would also recommend Synergy's bolt kit.
Good luck,

Does it look like this?

You're going to have replace it with something beefier.
