Default Need help on stock Rubi springs?????

I have someone selling there stock rubi shocks and was wondering if I should buy them for my jk sport.

They will be coming off a 2010 and going on a 2011. Is this a good idea?

Check the #'s on them first. They might be identical or really close.

Are you asking about the shocks or the springs?

That is for the springs, not the shocks.

Wow. I cant imagine my 2011 riding any better than it does now. I was, and am extremely impressed with its "on road" ride..

Are the stock Rubi shocks longer than the Sport.? Valved different.? If i get the Terra Flex leveling kit should i just plan on finding a set of Rubi shock to compliment the setup.

I put shocks and springs from a 4 door Rubi on my 2 door Sport to get some lift. Figured the ride would suck due to the stiffer springs, but it has been an improvement in ride and handling (also added wheel spacers at the same time, and I think that made it feel more 'stable' as well). If you are getting the Rubi shocks cheap, I say go for it.

The ride is night and day... It was one of the best inexpensive mods I've done. As Karl stated, the Rubi shocks are much hardier than the stock. For the length, I'm not sure if they are different. I can take a pic in the morning and post them side by side. I don't feel like going out back to my storage.... I'll def post one for you tomorrow when I grab my fishing gear...

Buy em, you won't regret it. I did the mod a few months back and the ride is way better. When you have both side side compress each by hand and you can tell the difference. The sport shocks are real "soft"
