Nope, sounds like a loose wiring harness or maybe a bad ground? Sounds like an issue for the dealer assuming you are under warranty, good luck

That's what I was thinking. The stereo is junk but not on my list of mods at the moment.

is it a new one? if so open the fuse box and make sure everything is seated in there fuses and anything else that can be pushed down. I believe they come from the factory that way and some stealerships are to lazy to do it.

My 2008 stock nav/ stereo has CD player probs. opens and takes disk then closes and it may or may not play. If it doesn't work I will press open and it will but it want give me the disk back. It also want do anything else after this. If I wait a sec to a min I might get it closed again but when try to open again. Nope. Finally after much messing it finally gives me the disk. Luckily. I play mostly mp3. But have a hard time putting my disks on the hard drive

Any thoughts??

Maybe I didn't ask the correct question, how would that cause the radio to cut out?
