Stock plastic under fron bunper.
Oils removing the plastic front "skid plate" have any drastic affect on the jeep? Or cause any problems if I remove it? I only ask because I'm not much on tearing apart the jeep if I don't need too. But the plastic under the front just looks a little rediculous. If anyone else has removed it bit still has the stock front bunper please post pictures.

I took mine as soon as I got home. Went from the dealer to steak house, and had hood flutter. So what they say about it stopping hood flutter is bull. When I got home I took it off.

Took mine off as well. Looks a lot better IMO. Also took the hood spring off. Drove into a 20mph+ headwind yesterday with little to no flutter. Take it off. Won't miss it.

That is only there as an air deflector. At stock height suspension, everything is above the bottom of the plate. This is for aerodynamics/fuel mileage only. No harm in removing it as far as detrimental effects other than fuel mileage. When lifts are installed, the effect it has would be diminished anyway.
Ok. add hood flutter to the list of possible effects. I have never removed mine so not familiar with this. Either way, if you want it gone and don't care about the aerodynamics there are fixes for the hood flutter.

I have read where other members claim it shortens the life of some underhood electrical components because it allows them to get wet in the rain. Not sure if that's true though, just what I heard. I haven't had my Jeep long enough to experience that.

I definitely noticed it helped with preventing hood flutter. But after putting my winch behind my stock bumper it hasn't gone back on. Just do the zip tie mod on the hood latches. No hood flutter after that at all.
