im going to "shave/ stripping" my JK tomorrow of the Jeep logo on the grille along withe the Sahara stickers & wrangler ones too.

Hair dryer, around a minute, peeled right off. Went over with goo gone, washed off with car wash soap and water, cleaned that off, applied some wax. Looks good. Can't tell where the stickers were in the sunlight.

Just used heat gun and goo gone. Worked like a charm and then used some detail spray to remove the goo gone then wax. Very easy and looks a hell of a lot better

I just did this last wk. Just took the Sahara stickers off. I didnt use a heat gun aor anything. Just peeled off very slowly. I am in FL where its 75-80 degrees though...

Use Goo Gone. They sell it as an adhesive and grafetti remover. Works great on getting Sharpie off leather seats, gum out of the kid's hair, paint and all kinds of stuff. You can get it about any big box store.

Agree do not use thinners, WD-40 will do the trick and not hurt the paint (also works well on refrigerator door for taped picture removal) and always clean the surface with something like Simple Green before you add a sticker.
