Default Stock decal removal

Any tips on how best to remove the stock decals? I wanna get rid of the "X" and put a "JK" on.

heat gun or hair dryer. heat and peel off sticker. acetone or goo gone or lacquer thinner to remove remaining adhesive.

Will be waxing the spot afterward.

Mine just pulled off really easily no heatgun needed. Just make sure u get all the residue off though.

don't wax it if you are putting a new sticker right back on. you don't want to put new sticker on wax. it will peel for sure.

they can peel the paint if you don't heat them. i have had this happen before and it really sucks.

No paint thinner or at least dont rub it to hard as this could result in you loosing your clear coat and possibly paint I would recommend Aerokroil or WD-40 for removing residue these both work wonders..

Ohh, good point. I'm going to go nekkid for awhile. If I do a sticker, it will be a JK sticker from here.

Be careful if you do use acetone to clean of the sticky . . . too much contact and you will rub your paint right off. I would stick with GooGone or Desolve It to get the sticky stuff off. Both of those products will not harm your paint.
