Is it just me, or is it really hard to find the replacement for the stock aircleaner? I guess I'll have to go to the stealer, or I have been thinking about the K&N drop in. Wal-fart... nothing. noPep-Boys.......nothing. I looked in their index catalogs in the aisles. JK is listed, but only for oil flters air filters was left blank. 3 stores, 3 different catalogs, same result. Anyone know anything about this?

 

Wal Mart and Pep Boys ain't the best places to try. You got a Bumper to Bumper around there? How bout a NAPA store? All Wal Mart is good for is air fresheners. All Pep Boys is good for is curb feelers and fuzzy dice.

I remember reading somewhere that there was an exclusivity deal for the air filters and that aftermarket companies would not be able to manufacture them until 2009. Could be complete BS, but I have not been able to find a regular old drop in filter anyplace other than the dealer. $17.00 bucks.

 

I got mine from Auto zone. I forgot the brand, but it was like $20 or $22. Even the person working there thought that was crazy.

 

STP is the only company I've found that makes a aftermarket replacement. It looks just like the factory filter. Anyone who sells STP filters should have them. My local autozone had them.

 

K&N makes a replacement filter for the JK. Buy it once, never buy another again....

When I bought mine it wasn't available anywhere but the dealer, even then I had to call around to a few to find one with them in stock, was only like $17 as others have noted.

 

Autozone in North Attleboro is where I got mine. Part # 33-2364 .

They also have the Oil Filters in stock too.

 

Yup. Autozone had it. (STP) I still think it is kind of wierd it is not more readily available. Oh well. Thanks to everyone's input, I find one. Thanks everyone!
