Default Stock 2012 jkur with 35's....possible without lift?

Thinking of adding 35's to my 2012 JKUR. No lifting wanted. can it be done with no rubbing issues?

Willing to use spacers. any recommendations on brand and size?

thanks!!

Do you plan on going off road? If so, you'll need wheel spacers or wheels with 4.5" of backspacing and longer bump stops or flat fenders. With the Rubicon you'll have to shorten the aft end of the rock slider and trim the pinch seam.

People have done 35s at stock height. However you will have to run flat fenders and trim a lot of plastic. If you don't go offroad it's probably going to look squished but will work. Personally I'd run a 2.5" budget spacer lift which will keep the stock ride but keep you from rubbing or cutting up your jkur.

As for the width you will need to run 1.5" wheel spacers for wheels over 11" wide.

Thread jack. Can someone run a 2 inch lift and be ok with 35's. Stock rims with 1.5 inch spacers? I wheel and don't want any rubbing issues either. I'm torn between the aev 2 inch lift and the 2.5 Tera budget.

You will need at minimum cut fenders, but you will have zero flex if you venture off road, and honestly it won't look good. I would lift it

If you cut the fenders yes. If not, it will rub

35's will rub on most of the stock plastic. At full flex and. 3.5" lift I've seen them rub on fenders, the air dam and the front bumper.

You could do a Performance Accessories Premium Lift System which is a 1.75" leveling kit with a 1" body lift that will clear 35" tires no problem and only costs about $150
