Default Steering wheel mounted controls not working

So yesterday the controls were fine in my 2011 Wrangler and now today they don't work at all. Not the radio buttons, the trip odometer reset, the hands free buttons, nothing. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a reset or is this a service issue?

Have you tried giving the steering wheel a firm (but not too violent) smack with the heel of your hand. Just pretend your smacking the wheel and yelling a a car in front of you at a relight that hasn't noticed it's green.

Mine's done that a couple times - a quick firm smack fixes it right up.
