Default Steering stabilizer?

Hey guys and gals, i recently had a wheel alignment done after installing 255/70/18 BFG KO2 ATs, but im needing to constantly correct the steering wheel especially when driving on the highway. I had the same problem even with my stock tires on. Then it dawned on my maybe its my steering stabilizer? has anyone else had this issue? and was it solved by replacing the factory steering stabilizer? If so which would you recommend?

I should mention other then an arb front bumper and new tires which are stock specification but slightly heavier then stock the jeep is not lifted.

Thanks for the help!

Are you certain that everything is torqued down (DL turnbuckle and TR jam/adjuster sleeve nuts? You shouldn't need to be constantly recentering your steering wheel like that. It sounds like something is not tight and allowing things to work loose enough to shift the steering wheel just a bit.

take it off and check it for play / deadspot and if so replace it with a stock one. they are cheap and do just fine.

I think I misunderstood the original post.....sorry. When you said you were "constantly correcting the steering wheel", I was thinking you meant you had to keep re-centering it.....not just correcting as in a driving motion. Couldn't fathom how that was happening. LOL....Sorry.

When i had the alignment done they re-centered the steering wheel, but its while im driving i have to constantly keep making small steering wheel adjustments to keep it straight, if i let go all together it will slowly start to drift to either side

Do you have the spec sheet from your alignment?

You're on stock suspension? Don't see anything about lift in your profile so double checking. Curious what your caster is on spec sheet.
