My best friend has a stick shift and I have an auto damn that started out bad.... Anyway both of our jeeps squeal screech at the 1500 to 2100 rpm range. I noticed it before at a lower tone before I installed my Air Raid! He has not changed a thing (STOCK)! We still have the same Squeal / Screech mine is just louder. I took my entire intake off and drove around the neighborhood same noise even louder. Took his off same noise and just as loud. 1500 rpm to 2100. It seems to me an air flow issue. I went to the dealer the SM said it was my CAI I had Eric show up 1 hour later in his It was the clutch. WTF? No comment 2 different issues is what we were told.

 

I was having a persistent squealing at lower speeds after getting off the highway. The dealer ended up replacing both front wheel bearings, seems to have solved the problem. I have an auto tranny. I have heard of others with squealing issues having something lubricated on their front driveshaft to eliminate the noise.

 

check the TSB section, im brigning my rubi in tonight!!!! its about damm time!!!!! bye bye squeek!!!!

 

My dealer does not now what this noise is!!
it's all the above but I have one more
on sixth gear it makes noise like the gears are grinding WTF


anyone with the same issue?

 

would any damage occur if i dont get this fixed? i have yet to have a smooth transaction with my dealer and i feel sketchy about having work done there.

i can live with a squeak, if thats all that becomes of it.
