Default Springs/Shocks

Is there much or any differance between the stock springs/shocks on an X and Rubicon? Both are Unlimited.
Is it worth $100 to put the Rubi stuff on my X?
I would do this at the same time I did a TF BB.
Thanks
Joe

I opted for just the shocks when I did my BB. Got them for $50 shipped and could not pass it up. Firmed up the ride consiberably. Hard to beat for the $$.

Just noticed you are in Katy. I am about 30 minutes west between Sealy and Columbus. We should get together sometime.

I am picking up a set of 35's this weekend in Humble. Maybe we could meet up on my way back.

Rubi shock are gas, so they are stiffer. The springs are the same.

I'm pretty sure the coils on a sahara are different then the coils on a rubi. When we were doing a lift on Doojer's sahara, we noticed that the part numbers on his coils were different then the part numbers on our rubi coils. And when we compared the coils side by side, the rubi coils were just a bit taller.

So, is the opinion that I should buy the Rubi shocks and springs for $100 and install them when I do the TF BB?

Rubi shocks are gas, X are hydraulic. Springs are the same.

Could I put rubi shocks from a 4 door rubi on my 2 door X when I install my Teraflex 2.5" BB??? Or would this change the rake too much?
