Springs... HELP
I currently have front 17 springs and rear 58 springs, was looking to go to front 19 springs and rear 60 springs. Called the dealership to order the springs and found out there are now rear 61 springs. Also the the front 19 springs were 69$ per spring, the rear 60 springs were 76$ per spring, and the rear 61 springs were 130$ per spring. Does anyone know if there is truly much difference between rear 60 or rear 61 springs? Also do these prices seem a little steep? After reading all about fellow Jeepers doing the 18/59 or 19/60 spring swap it seems it didn't cost them that much. So would a 19/60 spring setup at 290$ or 19/61 spring setup at 400$ be worth it? I'm considering doing a 19/60 swap but I am wondering if my dealership is charging higher prices than other dealerships? Please feel free to provide any feedback. Thanks.

Getting into that price range has me thinking that you might be better off looking at after market spring/shock kits.
I just did a swap from 14/55 springs to 18/59 on mine (just this weekend)... but I did mine because a set of still practically new 18/59's came up on my local craigslist for a steal of a price.

That's exactly what I'm thinking, with that price I'd probably be better off with a aftermarket progressive rate spring. If I could find a practically new set of 19/60's at a good price I would definitely do that though.

That's a WAY BETTER deal than what I'm getting here locally! Hopefully I can stumble upon a "new" set of 19/60 springs. Or I might get aftermarket progressive rate springs.

The 18/59 set gave it just about 2" of lift in the front, and closer to about 1 3/4" in the rear- and looks a lot more level now. Drives straight and rides great. I did also add JKS quick disconnects in the front, adj up about 1 3/4" over the stock end links
It was just about 33.5" before, and just about 35.5" after

I have a set of front springs that I will let you have but the catch is I don't know what number they are as I accidently pulled the tag off of them when I was a newbie and didn't know what the tags were for . I can tell you that my Sahara came with the tow package and had the 59 springs in the back because the tags are still on them. I have no use for them and if you want to try them for free you are welcome to them just let me know by PM.
