Software upgrade = More power?

i just took my 2011 into the dealership for the steering wheel controls fix and they also re flashed my computer. And i noticed a little more power on take off. But its still a turtle on the highway.

i had an issue where my steering wheel controls would stop woirking. I tried the horn honk still didnt fix it. They reflashed the computer and it still did it. THey called me and said that jeep had a fix for it and it was a recall. THey said there was also a new flash for my computer. I havent had any problems since.
