Default Soft top windows not same on all JK year models

I have a 2010 JK Sport and just bought tinted windows from someone that had a 2007 JK Sahara. They bought their vehicle with the dual tops and didn't need the soft top or windows. I bought them thinking they should all be the same.

Well, they fit, but they are probably about a 1/4 inch longer, where the lip fits in behind the rear door. Other than that, they zip up and fit everywhere else perfectly, and the rear window is a perfect fit. Just the side windows are a bit longer.

If i'm not mistaken, the dual top option comes with a different model of ragtop than trucks equiped with only the ragtop.

1/4 inch is not a lot...
I would rather they be a little long than short!
I have a brand new set that I am going to swap out for summer...I'll post if I find the same problem...

Just run them through the dryer a few times to shrink them a bit.

that's not true, but there is a different soft top in the 2010 than in 2007-2009.

The 2010, has a cable system that makes it faster to connect to the door surrounds. so, b/c of that change it possibly could have changed the window sizes a little I guess.

Really?? I was told that 4 door Wranglers with the dual top group were equipped with a ragtop that connected behind the two rigid panels (over the front seats)...

Nope. The 4-door top hooks up to the front window seal just like two-doors.

If I'm not mistaken, there were two different type of soft-tops though: the sunrider and the non-sunrider.

yeah, if I remember correctly, the sunrider may not have come out until late 07 models or 08.

I just looked at my invoice, and the dual top option is listed as including:

-3 piece modular Freedom Top
-Easy folding Soft top

Sunrider is mentionned nowhere, so I guess there still are two different soft tops... or maybe not.... I'm getting confused here...
