I have the original Trektop and I run mine through brushless all the time. No drips, no problems.

I perfer washing it by hand, but twice a year the dreaded Lovebug swarms force me to run it through a brushless carwash. Never had any of the side windows get scratched or had water leaks.

I have done the touch-less many times without issues, when you type in the pin number for the car wash, look for a button for a "bug deflector" if you push this, the blower will not come down and roll up your hood, it will stay up and blow from a distance. I find it is less scary driving through the blower this way.

Cheers

My Jeep doesn't fear the rough brushes and the infamous blow dryer of death... it gets scratched up anyways, so I don't really care as much anymore these days. I sometimes hold the soft-top with my hand as the dryer blows over it though, just in case.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned to turn your blower fan on high to balloon the top before going through the car wash

If your fans can balloon out your top, it's not on tight enough. I don't think those fans are that strong.

been through plenty of times without issue with the TrexTop (original) Now they won't take me cause of my stinger. I just let whatever local HS girls in shorts and wet t shirts wash it for whatever their charity is. They seem to get a kick out of a built jeep.

I blast the AC/Cold air when i go through a car wash because of this. water likes to sit in a giant puddle in the middle of my soft top. Its factory oem top and it leaks something horrible in a auto car wash.

I would have to believe the opposite. When I take mine through I always turn the fan on, as it creates a high pressue area within the cab an balloons the soft top a bit. If on the other hand the top was not sealing correctly it would not be able to maintain the high pressure area within the cab. By the way I have no leaks from either rain or the Hydra-Spary wash, and take the wifes JK Unlimited through both the hand wash Hydra-Spray, and the automatic Hudra-Spray quite a bit. I always use the double wash and blower dry, never the wax.
I must say though the first time I went through I thought the blow dryer was going to destroy the hood.
