Default soft top/sound bar slap

just the 07's i guess. i noticed at hiway speeds with the windows down some, the soft top will slap the speaker bar due to wind buffering. there is a tsb on it.

they install a foam kit. just wondering if anyone did another fix? i am sure some camper foam or other method would work.

You can use 2 soft nap paint rollers for the fix. They hide under the top and you can't see them. Just go to Lowe's and get whatever thickness you need. That's what I use on my 08 2 dr Rubicon.

mopars fix is a thin layer of foam to deaden the noise, not stop the flop. there is a depression in the top of the soundbar, a $1 pool noodle cut to length fit perfectly for me, it stops it from flapping far more than 3/32" of sticky foam would ever do.

yup, that looks like the same thing, except the one i had was gray. i dont have any pics, but all i did was hold it up there from the front seat, guess on length so it went all the way across & cut it off, then shoved it above the soundbar. no trick involved, couldnt even tell it was there from the outside. I would go take a pic but the kids nabbed it for camp and i didnt get it back, havent gotten around to grabbing another one yet.
