Default Soft top rear window bar

Like some other forum members, the bar for the rear window of our 2010 has given up the ghost. The rubber parts had ripped. I took the jeep into the dealership for two recalls, and asked them to look at the bar, and see if it could be replaced under warranty.
As luck would have it, it was

Looks like dodge wises up, and made a part that could be repaired if need be.

Lucky you! My dealership wouldn't fix it under warranty. They classified it as "wear and tear." Only had the jeep for 6 months. So it now has double sided tape holding it in

Mine was a wreck after the first year. I need some other warranty work done so I suppose I'll ask if they will replace. I doubt it but can't hurt to ask!
