Default Soft Top Quesion

Hello, I currently own a '09 JK 2dr Hard Top and have the opportunity to purchase this soft top.

grandrapids.craigslist.org/pts/1416374128.html.

The question I have is what extra hardware would I need to buy to install this top?

I believe (I have a 4dr) the only hardware you should need are the two brackets that the soft top attaches to the roll bar with; the rear window tailgate bar (looks like it is shown in the pic of the top upside down); the two channels that the tailgate bar slides into; and the 4 knobs for attaching the surrounds to the roll bar.

everything looks to be in order on the website....EXCEPT the door surrounds. i could be wrong...but those look like TJ door surrounds. I own a 09 JK soft top and those door surrounds look nothing like mine.

reason why i say they look like the TJ is the groove on it resembles the TJ door...as opposed to the JK which is just one straght verticle piece (not verticle, curved, then verticle again...best way i can explain it).

Definatly not a JK top. The Door surrounds and corners of the canvas are wrong. I would stay away from that if I were you....

It looks like the non-sunrider softop that Mopar sells....I think they are made by Bestop. You can go to the Mopar website and download the .pdf files for the insructions and you'll see the top that is shown in the craiglist picture.

Mopar PN 82209746AB for $1370.00 bucks!!

mopar-accessories.com/en-US/Jeep/2009/Wrangler_2-Door/partlist.aspx?DivisionId=1&VehicleId=35&Year=2009& CategoryId=1003&GroupId=2042&SubGroupId=3181&pc=36 699

If it's complete and the fabric and windows are in good shape.....you might wanna give it a go. It also looks like the header rail is there because the clamps are showing..but can't be sure from pic.

The link you posted does not have pictures so its hard to compare. Anyway, I don't see how a curved door suround would work with a square door frame.

Also check out the size and shape of the side windows. Too square. They should be more rectangular for a JK.
