So...why front rake anyways?
Dear Jeep corporation man:
So...just wondering. Why on earth do you design in that totally uncool front rake on your Jeeps anyways? I don't expect any answers but here are some musings:
1) You figure true Jeep owners will mod their vehicles anyways. It helps to identify the type of owner (soccor mom vs other).
2) It's a conspiracy. The aftermarket guys asked you to design it to encourage the purchase of lifts etc.

It is so the thing sits level when you have 2 people aboard and the rear sags. This saves the cost of the parts to adjust the headlights from the driver's seat like the rest of the world can. Clever these engineers and accountants.

For all standard vehicles There is a certain max height the front bumper has to be, mandated by the feds, in order to come somewhat close in a crash with another vehicle. Rear can be higher so the car can be loaded down and not be a taildragger.
