so no way to fix whistling from windshield replacement?

The second shop removed the mastic mess and installed the trim, nice job of it and my windshield can take some impressive hits without cracking.

Default Resealed

Ours only whistled after we had it replaced with Safelite Autoglass. Afterward they pulled it back out and resealed it. That seemed to fix the issue.

Tape along the top edge fixed the Safelight installed factory glass replacement.

Maybe stop using the jiffylube of auto glass to fix your windshields and take it to the pros. Lol.
