So, is the cylinder head issue resolved with the 2013 models?

I'm thinking of getting back in a Jeep now that the 3.8 is gone. I was shopping for a used or leftover 2012 models. Obviously wasn't real happy to hear of the cylinder head issues. If I go with a new 2013, will I avoid this issue?

nobdy knows lol. I have a 2013 built 08/30/2012 with 6500 miles and it is quiet as can be. That does not mean it won't develope a problem down the road.

I have a 2012 from a build of around January 2012. It now has about 24,000 miles on it and is quiet as it was when new. A coworker has a 2012 rubi from and earlier build. His has 10,000 miles and is quiet, no ticking. I have pushed mine pretty hard, towing a trailer that weighs around 4000 pounds.

2013 with Aug build. Runs like a top. Forget the exact date, but according to what I read on a Pentastar website, all 2013 model year 3.6 have the new heads. Do a search on here. I posted the build dates on another thread.
