Default smoke

I was on my way home today and stopped at a red light and all of a sudden i could smell burnt oil and saw smoke behind me with no other cars around. When i left the light no smoke was coming out the exhaust or under the hood. I have been home for a few hours now and went back out to my garage and there isn't any thing on the ground, and i checked all fluids and are all fine...

Any body have an idea???

I had a burnt oil smell with mine too. Drove me nuts My cv boot on the front stock drive shaft had torn so as I drove past 2500 rpm it would sling grease on my pipes. The grease would then burn and smoke.....If you have over 3 inches of lift and stock drive shafts keep an eye on them....I would get under the jeep and look for and greases slinging on the under side of the jeep

Make sure your oil filler cap was reinstalled at your last oil change...
