So last sunday I was out on a trail, and came up on a crossing that had rocks....Well....Rocks found my evap. They pulled it off the mount and was dragging on the ground. a couple of the connections were pulled off. It cracked one of the tabs that hold it in the mount, not all the way through. I re-connected the wires and locked it back in the mount. NO Cel's since then, up until today. wife was driving home and a cel popped up. Im pretty sure that is the case....How much is a new one from jeep? And since it is a small crack, can I just get by with silicone?

yeah, I hope it will work....And $50? wow thats a crap load better than what i thought it would cost.

Yeah. Looked up a couple of sites and they have it listed as "Vapor Canister"for around $52.10. Kinda surprised to find that the price of the part you're protecting is cheaper than the skid that protects it? Unless I'm looking at the wrong part. For the longest time, I thought the Evap Canister cost a lot more.

Just looked on jeeps parts site and they are 52.10....I dont feel so bad...Either will my wallet

IMO....I would look into a skid asap or a relocation bracket but that is just my .02

Same amount I found on a couple of different sites. Didn't see any other part so, it must be the one. Once you get this fixed, definitely make an active decision on skidding or relocating it to avoid future $52.10 purchases

hmmm.... $52 for a replacement Evap or $100 (approx) for an aftermarket Evap skid plate

Maybe relocating the Evap might be another alternative
