Default A single chime while interior dome flashes?

So while riding the road last night, my interior lights flashed on once along with a single chime. Have never heard this in two years, but it did it twice in 20 minutes last night. WTF?

that's a bit strange. Make sure all your doors and tailgate is shut tight.

already checked that, plus no words show up in dash, so its not a door.

check the interior light fuse it may be loose....

ive got just over 26k miles on it. Its another one of those "dealer cant replicate problem things. I havent checked the fuse yet but it doesnt seem like thats it.

I had the single ding which means the tranny overheated.
We didn't know this at the time and burnt up the tranny.
don't know about the lights.
