Most automotive seats have one adjustment handle for fore and aft adjustment that is made as part of one seat track assembly. The other seat track also has an adjustment locking lever made on it, but it is operated by a wire cable connected to the adjustment lever previously mentioned. If this cable breaks/comes loose then you can pull the seat adjustment handle till the cows come home- only one side will unlock and the seat WON'T MOVE. Look under the seat with a flashlite. Pull the handle and see if both side locking tabs on the seat tracks are releasing, if not reconnect the wire cable. If both are releasing you've got a piece of debris jammed in the track. EDIT EDIT-The JK seat tracks are made together as an assembly. no cable involved.....
