My Cover Kings have a "hole" where the airbag would open.

I also have an 09 Unlimited.

I've seen airbags go off first hand, if there isn't a hole in the cover, it will make its own. However, you don't want to restrict the path, so just make sure the hole is lined up properly. Just my 2 cents....

I have rugged ridge seat vests and they have a area open for the air bags, and also have alot of extra storage built in them.
