Default Seat Belt Issue!

My driver side seat belt is jamming up. It will be fully retracted and lock up. The dealership won't replace it under warranty because of water damage. When I put my top on the other day and bunch of rusty water came out of the tubes and some made it into my seat belt, causing it to jam. I used WD-40 on and some chain lube on it. That works sometimes. The high humidity makes it lock up still. I need to replace it. The dealership wants $450 to replace (which I am in no way doing!). My question is, where should I look for a new seat belt/ what should I look for in a new one? Does the JK require a certain type? Can I get a waterproof one? And finally, the retractable unit has a yellow wire coming out of it, if I disconnect that will it make my computer code? Should I disconnect the battery when I replace it?
