I'd be inspecting the spark plugs. OEM plugs are Champion RE14PLP5, on the 3.8s.

Took the old plugs out and put in ngk platinums, started it up ran a lot better. Have not heard the noise but just drove around for a bit. I'm close to an oil change so I put half a bottle of seafoam in the oil so hopefully that will clean everything out. I hope this works.. Really hope it does.. Thanks for the help guys will keep you posted if this works!

What did the old plugs look like? Anything look wrong? Were they gapped correctly?

It's not impossible to get a defective plug. Or wire.

Good luck. Keep us posted.

Factory platinum plugs are $3 each at autozone or one of the big chains. I love NKG's but I've read issues with the 3.8 and NGK's. Fuel can definitely be your problem but hopefully the new plugs will have you on track!

Please do not put sea foam in directly your cylinders!,

you should read the directions on the bottle. I believe it states 1.5oz for every quart. Not half the bottle. Don't leave it in there long.

Seafoam works great, and I use it in my motorcycle, ATVs, and riding lawnmower. However, if you are serious about cleaning your engine, I'd strongly suggest Chevron Techron. It goes in the gas tank, and IMHO is absolutely the BEST for cleaning injectors and carbon.

*update* forgot to tell you guys also when I changed my spark plugs the 5th plug was finger loose... And I got them changed at the dealer... Some kind of service eh? But ya put all new ngks in and runs perfectly fine now no more noise and I out half a bottle of sea foam oil cleaner in about 100kms ago. I check my oil the other day and it's good. Should I changed my oil now after 100kms?
