Am considering using seafoam treatment in my '11 jk. Just turned 20k miles and a friend suggested doing it. Has anyone had a good/bad experience with this??
Don't waste your money. Any good quality, modern fuel is already full of additives to keep everything clean. Just used a good quality gas, preferably Top Tier (Mobil, Exon, Chevron, Shell, Texaco, etc.). The gas is generally from the same depot in a given area, however each "brand' has their own additive package put in at the pump, so there are differences. Google "TOP TIER Gasoline Retailers" for a list.
The only thing that needs to be done periodically (every 50K to 75K miles) is cleaning the throttle body.
