Default Sea foam question?

Which vacuum hose do people use to Seafoam their 3.8? I'm not sure which one to use to reach all the cylinders.

Default Sea foam question?

Alright that's the one I thought. Right by the power steering cap right?

Default Sea foam question?

And also when's it best to do it? Full tank of gas? Half tank? Right before oil change?

If you are putting it in your gas I usually put half a bottle in before I fill up. If I'm putting it in the oil I usually put in half the bottle a hundred miles or so before an oil change is needed. I've read a variety of opinions on this and I'm not saying I'm right but this has worked for me for the past 10 years with no adverse effects on any of my vehicles.i don't think it matter when you put it in the brake booster. I wouldn't put in a whole bottle in the booster and add it slowly

Indeed, and DO NOT put the vacuum line in the can to suck it out. I've read of people doing that and hydro-locking the engine. I usually "pour" it down the line a little at a time.

Default Sea foam question?

Alright thanks guys! I just have one bottle, so I was planning on like 1/3 through the vacuum line and the other 2/3 in the gas tank? I've read putting it in the oil isn't necessary really.

Ive put it in the oil pan of a high mileage bronco but haven't done it to the jeep. I always go 50/50 in the vacuum and tank.

I've used sea foam in every used vehicle I buy. I put 1/2 in the tank, 1/4 in the oil and 1/4 in the vacuum hose. With the engine running, very slowly pour the sea foam in the vacuum hose but don't let the engine stall. Then immediately shut it off and let it sit for about 15 minutes. It will smoke like a freight train when you start it back, but it'll quit in a few minutes.

I've been reading this thread and have never used sea foam. Can you tell us the benefits of using sea foam?
