Default Scratchy Plastic Reply from DC....

So yesterday I sent a message to the DC help line email thing. I said that the way that the plastic scratches so easily in the JK seems to be a material defect and should be covered under warranty. Does DC have any plans to do anything about it?

My response back:
"Dear Thomas:

Thank you for contacting the Chrysler Group Customer Assistance Center
concerning the interior of your 2007 Jeep Wrangler.

It's always of concern to learn that a customer is dissatisfied. Over
the past few years, DaimlerChrysler Motors Corporation has made
tremendous gains in improving customer satisfaction. In your case, we
apparently have not met your expectations.

Our sincerest apologies for the problems you have had. I hope we will
have another chance to restore your faith in us.

Thank you again for your email.

Sincerely,

Cynthia

<sarcasm>Oh WOW! Man am I appeased! That totally set my concerns to rest! Thanks DC!</sarcasm>

Sounds like Cynthia has a future in politics. I would copy Archer's response and ask her if that is what she meant. I would love to hear her response to that.

Dear Cynthia:

I would like to thank you for your deep concern and your desire to restore my faith in Daimler-Chrysler. It is with great pleasure that I accept your offer. I look forward to receiving instructions on how to proceed with replacing the poor quality plastic in my Jeep with a new, higher quality material. I have notified my dealer of your intent to restore my faith, and their service department is eagerly awaiting a service bulletin on this issue.

I sincerely appreciate your tremendous commitment to customer satisfaction. It is my belief that, once the plastic has been replaced, you will have restored my faith in both Daimler-Chrysler and in you personally, Cynthia.

Sincerely,
