scratched up my center console box

I see no way to repair that. As we all know the interior plastic components are very easy to scratch. Lesson Learned. Next time use a towel or blanket when using your Jeep as a utility vehicle to avoid scratches.

ok so i made a thread in the wanted section
How do you replace the lock on it? does it just pop out?
ughh.. so it doesn't seem like I have any cheap options here.
The tuffy security console is just plain ugly IMO, and i don't really need it (i usually keep the expensive stuff in my glove box and leave the center console unlocked)
Couldn't find any cheap center console covers... and I don't really want a cushion.
thanks for all the responses.

The lock assembly, including the lock cylinder and its' casing can be taken off your original by removing two torx screws on the underside of the lid. The replacement lid includes everything except the lock cylinder. I removed the plastic lock casing from the new lid and simply removed the lock casing(including the cylinder) from my original, and put that on the new lid, that way it's easier than removing only the cylinder from the old one. Also, make certain that you order the matching color lid for your interior- there are two shades- one light and one dark. From your photo, I would guess it is the same as mine.

If you think that is bad I don't even want to show you pictures of how my Radio/Climate Control plastic looks. Its scratched DEEP in at least 5 different spots from when I was trying to install a Tuffy Center console by myself.
