Default scratched up my center console box



Decided to put a ladder in my jeep for a job.. ended up sratching the hell out of the center console box.

...anyone know a good way to fix it? Sand paper maybe?

Can't say as I do, all I know is the interior of this thing appears to be made out of butter and loves to scratch at the slightest abrasion. I've heard of people using McGuyers to cover these up and that seems to work fairly good.

Screwed, sorry to see that, but the lid is toast besides painting. Or just get one of those fluffy arm rest covers and hide it.

I made similar scratches with my freedom panels trying to wrestle them into the backseat. I got the rugged ridge armrest and poof gone.

try a heat gun...it's worth a shot
...or....check the for sale section here...look under miscelaneous parts

as mentioned try the for sale secttion, or post in the wanted section. someone that put in a Tuffy insert or console probably has the thing sitting around in thier garage

not much can be done with that. throw a misch console pad on it and call it good. the interiors do scratch just by looking at them. another bad area is the passenger side grab handle (air bag cover). anyone wearing rings, grabbing it getting in, leaves their calling card.

Doesn't really hurt anything, just enough to piss you off though. I found some nice covers on the net, marathon seat covers, cabella's, and a few others.
